You Are Not My Enemy was adapted by Peter Armetta from the Japanese Noh Drama, Atsumori. It was produced at the Oregon Buddhist Temple, Portland, OR, in June 2019. A warrior becomes a priest out of remorse over killing a fifteen-year-old boy in battle. Decades later, under a full moon, he returns to Suma Shore, the site of the battle, and encounters the boy's spirit. Together, they re-live the fatal day and find reconciliation and peace.
